I think it's Homo Sapiens, a French documentary sequel to A Species Odyssey. It has an English dub from what I read but I can't find it(probably not ripped?) but I have found the French dub and Spanish dub and it shows exactly that.

I couldn't find anything like that in Before We Ruled The Earth. I skimmed through the episodes. Maybe I missed it?
